Entrepreneurship with Art

Entrepreneurship with Art is an initiative of the Instituto Distrital de las Artes - Idartes that aims to strengthen the artistic and cultural ecosystem of Bogotá through training actions in communication strategies, cultural marketing and tools for marketing in digital environments. In addition, this strategy seeks to strengthen the marketing and circulation of goods and products related to art and culture by opening opportunities for participation in fairs and events in the sector.

The training process is focused on the learning by doing methodology, which allows participants to be authors of their own development, choosing the paths, activities and tools to acquire and strengthen their knowledge. In addition, throughout the process, experts in communication and cultural marketing issues provide assistance with a focus on two main actions:

  1. Circulation: To make artistic and cultural proposals visible with the use of social networks, data and trends, developing communication and digital marketing strategies that make creative processes and their results relevant.
  2. Commercialization: To offer products developed from the field of art and culture, through the application of metrics, and logistical and transactional services that make a practice sustainable in the digital environment.
