Artists in public space
La Candelaria
The founding place of the city, it brings together the main government bodies and keeps the memory of its origins represented in several assets of cultural interest and in the layout of the rivers that crossed it as the environmental axis of Avenida Jiménez. It is a relevant cultural and artistic landmark, where important educational institutions and cultural venues, the main museums and art collections, as well as one of the most outstanding libraries in Latin America, the Luis Ángel Arango, are located. The prioritized areas presented below were chosen taking into account the daily and permanent presence of artists in the public spaces:
Carrera 7. Section 1: From Calle 11 to Av. Jiménez
