BECMA and Media Library

Biblioteca Especializada en Cine y Medios Audiovisuales (BECMA)

The specialized library is a place for audiovisual, bibliographic and documentary consultation for all citizens interested in the audiovisual arts, where appropriation and exploration activities are carried out around the dynamics of audiovisual creation, production and research. BECMA is part of the Living Archive and Memory line of work.

Through our own publications, such as Cuadernos de Cine Colombiano, Catálogos Razonados, Research Grants and monograph publications, we contribute to the management of knowledge about the Colombian audiovisual ecosystem and the construction of critical thinking.

BECMA develops training activities and programs for the generation of citizens with a dynamic cultural life: both creators and active, critical and participatory audiences.

Service Hours

• Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
